Research Study: Quality Indicators of End-of-Life Care in Patients with Cancer

We would like to congratulate the research team led by ARCC Investigator Dr. Lisa Barbera on their newest publication: “Quality Indicators of End-of-Life Care in Patients with Cancer: What Rate Is Right?”. The purpose of this study is to support quality improvement in palliative and end-of-life care in cancer patients. Authors have developed indicators, regional variations, and quality benchmark values based on administrative data from four provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Nova Scotia) in Canada.

This study was funded and supported by the Canadian Centre for Applied Research in Cancer Control (ARCC). It involved five ARCC members:
