An expert in the field of pharmacoeconomics and disease modeling, he has published on the cost-effectiveness of a variety of medical technologies, pharmaceutical products, and public health activities. He has advised both industry and government on issues of health resource allocation and decision making. Professor Paltiel is the recipient of research grant support from the National Institute on Mental Health, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
