2025 CCRA Awards

Nominations for the 2025 CCRA Awards are being accepted!

The Canadian Cancer Research Alliance (CCRA) has made it a priority since 2011 to recognize and celebrate those who have had a remarkable impact on cancer research and the Canadian cancer research community. Awards are given every other year and are presented at the CCRA’s Canadian Cancer Research Conference.

There are four award categories: exceptional leadership, outstanding research, distinguished service, and exceptional leadership in patient involvement (see details at https://www.ccra-acrc.ca/ccra-awards/). To date, 26 individuals have received awards. Recent awardees for 2021 and 2023 include: Bradly Wouters and Stephen Robbins (Exceptional Leadership), Connie Eaves, Harvey Max Chochinov, and Tak W. Mak (Outstanding Research), Elisabeth Baugh and Mandana Vahabi (Distinguished Service), and Barry D. Stein and David McMullen (Exceptional Leadership in Patient Involvement).
