The Consultant, Health Economics supports the Cancer Systems, Performance & Innovation Division in carrying out projects and initiatives to achieve organizational priorities. Reporting to the Manager, Health Policy, Measurement and Evaluation and working closely with the Lead, Health Economics, the Consultant will provide content-specific expertise on health economics with a view to advancing pan-Canadian initiatives in economic evaluation and health system sustainability. The Consultant will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to support the application of health economics in a number of domains, including but not limited to OncoSim microsimulation modelling and health economic evaluations in areas such as tobacco control, alcohol, early palliative intervention, cancer screening, and cancer treatment. The Consultant will also support knowledge mobilization activities, such as the development of reports, presentations, abstracts, manuscripts, and other knowledge products.
