Geoffrey Ogram Memorial Research Grant
Lung Cancer Canada (LCC) is excited to announce that applications are currently being accepted for the Geoffrey Ogram Memorial Research Grant (GOMRG).
Application Deadline: August 17, 2020
The GOMRG was created in memory of Geoffrey Ogram, a former board member of LCC who passed away from lunch cancer. The GOMRG supports advancement in lung cancer research programs that are anywhere in the continuum from basic, high impact discovery to translational work of direct relevance to the clinic and beyond. The goal of the GOMRG program is to provide a mechanism for scientists to study innovations and accelerate the application of new knowledge relating to the early detection of lung cancer and the etiology of lung cancer in different demographics and populations. Applications are encouraged from, but not limited to, the areas of biomedical, clinical, health services, social, and population health research. Guidelines can be found here. En Francais
Funds Available: one $25,000 (CDN) grant will be awarded.
