***Announcing the 2018/19 ARCC Studentship Competition***
ARCC is pleased to announce the launch of our 2018/19 Studentship Competition. Several studentships will be awarded to full time graduate students (Masters or PhD) conducting research that falls within one of ARCC’s main program areas. The competition is open as of today, Monday July 30th, 2018.
Term: 12 months (January 1, 2019 – December 31, 2019)
Value: $25,000 CAD ($22,000 stipend + $3,000 research allowance)
Application Deadline: September 28th, 2018
Eligibility: Applicants and their supervisors must be current ARCC members, and the applicant must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at a Canadian university undertaking cancer-related research training leading to a thesis-based graduate degree. Support is available only to candidates who have completed their first year of graduate training. The applicant must not hold another major award from other sources, i.e. CIHR. Canadian citizens, landed immigrants, and permanent residents will receive first consideration.
