Methods Working Group

Jeffrey Hoch

Chair: Jeffrey Hoch (Professor, UC Davis)

The Methods Working Group consists of researchers with expertise in HTA, health services research, statistical analysis, and health economics. The Methods Working Group will explore a variety of analytical strategies and the strengths and the limitations of different methods to address potential bias and confounders when estimating key outcomes, including safety, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness. The Group will then make recommendations on how to apply these methods to undertake RWE evaluations with support from the Data Working Group during the test case analyses.
